Mr. Mohammad Raja FRCS(Gen)
He graduated from King Edward Medical College Lahore Pakistan in 1984 and received his surgical training in Mayo Hospital Lahore, Pakistan and acquired Fellowship of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS) in 1991. After obtaining his FRCSI 1991 and FRCS (Eng) 1992, he joined South West Thames Higher Surgical Training Scheme. During this training, he completed MSc in Surgical Sciences in1996 from University of London, Diploma in Medical Education in 1997 from Cardiff and Intercollegiate FRCS in 1998. He achieved his certificate of completion of surgical training (CCST) in 1999. He is involved in teaching and training of junior doctors, medical students and nurses. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals. He is a member of regional surgical training committee (STC), tutor for postgraduate certificate in medical education (PCME) course, tutor for endoscopy course Royal College of Surgeons England, Foundation Programme Supervisor ESH, Assessor for Royal College of Surgeons England, lead clinician for Audit in Surgery, and member of hospital transfusion and infection control committees. Mr. Mohammad Raja is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon, at Epsom & St
Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. He is a trained general surgeon with a
special interest in colorectal surgery; his special interests include endoscopy,
day case surgery, laparoscopic general & colorectal surgery and surgery for
inflammatory bowel disease IBD, colorectal cancer, faecal incontinence.
