Consultants - Radiology

Dr. Chris George FRCS FRCR

Dr. Chris George is a Consultant Clinical Radiologist at Epsom & St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and an Honorary Visiting Consultant at Headley Court Defence Services RMC. He was appointed as a consultant to Epsom Healthcare NHS Trust in 1993. He is a general radiologist trained in ultrasound, CT and MRI imaging and has sub-specialty interests in musculo-skeletal and abdominal problems and pathology.

He trained at University College, London and at Westminster Medical School and subsequently undertook specialist surgical and radiological training at Westminster, Hammersmith and St. George's Hospitals. He was the Price Fellow in Surgical Research at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA and a Wellcome Travelling Fellowship in 1985-6.

He is currently Clinical Tutor and Associate Director of Medical Education at Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at St. George's University, London. He is a lecturer and an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists.
