Mr. Paul Ursell MD FRCOphth

Mr. Paul Ursell is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Epsom and St. Helier University Hospitals Trust.

Mr. Ursell offers treatment for patients with all problems associated with their vision and eyes particularly with cataracts, glaucoma and macular changes. He also performs refractive surgery for patients who wish to be free of glasses. Mr. Ursell has developed a unique technique for cataract surgery whereby there are no stitches or needles needed for the anaesthetic which greatly enhances patient comfort and satisfaction, as well as providing excellent results.

Mr. Ursell is the first UK surgeon to gain a higher degree (MD) in modern phako cataract surgery and is an invited lecturer at international meetings on cataract surgery and refractive surgery.

He is currently a council member of the UK & Ireland society of Cataract and Refractive surgeons.

Mr. Ursell is on the Specialist Register with the General Medical Council (No. 3320068).
