Viji Kakumani FRCOG
Miss
Kakumani is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Epsom and St.Heliers
University Hospitals.
Miss
Kakumani graduated from Kurnool Medical College in India then
trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through various posts in
Scotland. She worked as a consultant in Saudi Arabia for 9 years.
She spent a year at Guys and St Thomas' for one year before taking
up the consultant post in Epsom General Hospital in 1996.
Miss
Kakumani is an STC member at the London Deanery and Final MBBS and
DRCOG examiner.
Miss
Kakumani has special interests in reproductive endocrinology,
menorrhagia and menopause. Her special surgical skills include
minimal invasive surgery (level 2 laparoscopic procedures and
microwave endometrial ablations). Miss Kakumani also offers TVTO
for stress incontinence and mesh repairs for prolapse.
Miss
Kakumani is on the Specialist Register with the General Medical
Council (No 2291631).
